We are holding a fund-raising carnival as an end-of-year activity during the second week of December (last week of school). Can you pass the word out to any of our former missionary "angels" that we could use some little novelties, small toys, etc, that could be used for prizes for games such as the Wishing Well / Fishing Game - Pin the Nose On The Clown type of thing. Nothing big, just the Five-And-Dime (or nowdays equivalent) . Maybe even candy if post-Halloween,pre-Christmas is a good time to scoop it up.

I have a limited number of Apia Samoa Temple tie clips and lapel pins which were made specifically for the LDS Legacy Bookstore in Vaimoso, Samoa. We had them at the recent reunion in Salt Lake City and I will send whatever remains to Samoa November 1 for them to sell there. If you would like one of these, please write me and I will get one or more to you. I'm charging $5 USD and will need to have your contact information to get them to you. They are available in gold or silver.

Talofa!
We can't believe three years have gone by so fast. We had a marvelous experience in the land we all love so much.
We will be giving our homecoming address this coming Sunday, July 20 at 1pm in the Highland 5th Ward located at 11200 N. 5335 W. Highland, Utah. We have tried to contact many of you, but are still lacking some emails so we hope you will get this message. We realize that many of you may not be able to come who desire to do so.

Talofa! Does anyone have any copies of the original Eldares songs, or does anyone know how one would go about getting any? I was under the impression there were copies out there. Any help would be appreciated!

Talofa lava everyone,
I'm currently working with OSA (office of Samoan Affairs) based in Carson, CA. They've started a Samoan language class to teach Samoans who grew up in the states how to speak Samoan. They want to expand this program but need to know who would be interested in volunteering (about one night a week) to facilitate the classes.
Its a great way to keep up your language and give something back.
Let me know if you're interested

Tracy Wilson is headed to Samoa July 10, 2007 to finalize a venue for a new LDS Bookstore in the Pesega area. This is something that has been needed for a long time--not a distribution center for the Church, but a store to buy LDS books (new and used), jewelry, Church-related tourist items like souvenir decorative plates, etc. Tracy is in need of new and used books that would be appropriate for this store. They will be sold at a discount rate to cover cost of operating the store (ala Deseret Industries, etc.), and will provide employment for several families as they create Samoan artifacts, etc. PLEASE...anyone who has books they would like to donate, please contact Tracy at trw@wilsonsonline.net There will be ongoing shipments. Fa'afetai tele!!

Any sister missionaries that served in Asaga (Savaii). We taught and baptised the beautiful Matafeo family, they remember sister missionaries used to visit them when they had just started their family, they can't remember the sisters names but they planted the seed that led to the Matafeo familys conversion many years (and 7 children) later.
